"Vincent Kompany is the one player you would look to at City, but he only goes three-quarters of the way Gerrard goes for Liverpool.
"And then you have Yaya Toure, a player who can single-handedly destroy some teams but can also go missing in the biggest of games. Perhaps thatâ€™s why Barcelona let him go."
