Despite their relegation drama, West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison insists they'll never go route one to get out of the dropzone.

The Hammers face Chelsea today.

Collison said: "There's no way we are going to start booting it long. That's not the way the manager wants us to play and it's not the way we want to go about things.

"Everyone enjoys getting the ball down and passing it to feet. It's the West Ham way, the way this club as been brought up.

"We're not going to stop believing in the way we play football.

"Obviously there are times when we will have to battle, to dig deep and work hard for each other. But we'll keep playing our football and trying to score a lot of goals."
