West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison hopes to be back after the international break.

The 23-year-old has been forced to miss the start of the season after failing to recover from a knee problem which has affected him for the last two years.

He said: "I'm pretty much there or thereabouts myself now. I just need to get some minutes under my belt and then try to give the manager a few headaches.

"If the boys continue to play like they did against Fulham then it's going to be hard to get back into the team. It's a challenge I'm looking forward to."
