Former Hibs boss John Collins is favourite to succeed Lawrie Sanchez at Fulham.
But, despite Collins being installed as the firm favourite, Fulham chiefs are also keen to speak to former Tottenham boss Martin Jol, while former Partizan Belgrade manager Miroslav Djukic is also understood to be under consideration.
Jol's top-level experience and high profile as manager of Tottenham would prove an attractive proposition for a club languishing in the Barclays Premier League's relegation zone. But the Dutchman may be tempted to bide his time in the hope that an opportunity at a bigger English club may arise.
The appointment of Collins would be popular with the Fulham faithful following his three seasons as a player with the club.
