Danny Collins is determined to keep his place at Sunderland ahead of their clash with Fulham.

He told the club's website: "I'm desperate to play at Fulham, whether Nuggsy (Nyron Nosworthy) is fit or not. There's plenty of competition in the squad now so I'm not the only one looking over my shoulder.

"You want to be out there playing in every game and I'll do everything I can to stay in the team."
