Wales coach Chris Coleman is set to pass on the Crystal Palace job.
Coleman was favourite to land the job at Palace, who are at home to Everton on Saturday, but is now ready to sign a new contract to carry on as manager of Wales.
He held talks with FAW officials yesterday.
