Seamus Coleman was delighted to prove Everton's matchwinner after victory over Cardiff City.
Speaking moments after the 2-1 win, Coleman admitted he was not concerned about the manner of his finish - only that it made amends for an earlier error.
He told evertonfc.com: "It was a massive goal. It didn't go where I intended it to but it went in the net.
"I unfortunately gave away the free-kick which led to their goal so I was trying to get forward as much as I could to help the lads out.
"I got in the right position thankfully. I'm sure Cardiff will feel hard done by because it wasn't the cleanest of strikes but they all count.
"I thought their keeper was absolutely fantastic. Some of the saves he pulled off were brilliant and to be honest, I think it would have needed a goal like that to beat him."
