Wales boss Chris Coleman has heaped praise on Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen.
The 25-year old pulled the strings in the Dragons' 3-0 Euro2016 qualifying win over Israel on Saturday which prompted suggestions from Coleman that perhaps he is just as important as superstars Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey.
"Joe is a great player. He was magnificent," said Coleman. "He's so important to the way we want to play, stopping attacks, linking our defensive play, linking to forwards.
"He's so intelligent, incredibly brave in possession, his awareness is amazing. He knows where to be and when to be there.
"We speak about Gareth and Rambo because they're great players, but Joe and the job he does for us is crucial.
"We got a little bit sloppy after our second goal, we should have upped it, it was a little too easy, and we needed someone to get their foot on it and set the tempo. Joe was the man who did it."
