Seamus Coleman insists Everton's preseason is on course.

The Toffees conceded late to go down 1-0 to Philadelphia Union in America.

Coleman told evertontv: "It was disappointing to lose, but pre-season friendlies are about fitness and it was tough conditions out there.

"It was really, really hot We were hoping to see it out for a draw in the end but unfortunately they scored right at the end. It's all about fitness."
