Everton winger Seamus Coleman credits his success to manager David Moyes.
Coleman's progress has been carefully overseen by Blues boss Moyes, who is aware that the player hasn't had a traditional football upbringing.
"Every season is going to be tough for me because I have a lot of catching up to do," he told evertonfc.com.
"I did feel tired and the manager knew that. He had me in and out of the team and now I've had a good break. "
Coleman also revealed the secret to his success at Goodison Park - visits back home to Killybegs.
"I'm still a bit of a home bird. I enjoy going home to the family and spending time with the girlfriend," he smiled.
"I try and keep that sort of mentality."
