Wayne Rooney didn't see his axing last night coming.
Rooney started Manchester United's defeat to Real Madrid on the bench, which was done by manager Sir Alex Ferguson without warning.
The shock decision prompted Rooney's wife Coleen to tweet: "Can't believe @WayneRooney isn't starting."
