Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is set to be available for England's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine thanks to wife Coleen.
Reports emerged yesterday that his expectant wife Coleen is planning a Caesarean birth for their baby so he can play on October 10.
It had been feared England boss Fabio Capello would be without the 23-year-old's services for the penultimate Group Six clash in Dnepropetrovsk since the former Everton player did not want to miss the birth of his first born child on the same day.
However friends close to the couple have revealed that after consulting doctors, Coleen is set about having a C-section in late September so that her husband Wayne can link up with his fellow countrymen having already witnessed the birth and helped her through the initial days of caring for the newborn baby.
"Both of them are so excited about the baby. But Coleen didn't want to be worrying about whether Wayne would be there or not - so she is being super-organised and has already pencilled in the date for the operation," a close pal told The Sun.
