Manchester United legend Andy Cole is hoping Robin van Persie can become an Old Trafford great. Cole is full of praise for the way RvP has kicked off his United career.

He told Absolute Radio: "I am hoping so, he has had a great start, I just said before the thing is with Robin, I think it's a lot, his transition was made a lot easier, he's come out at a later age than I came, he's proven already in the Premiership, scoring numerous for Arsenal.

"Coming off the back of a fantastic season for Arsenal last year and I think he has just, he's been here like he's been part of the furniture for the past couple of years. He's had a great start to the season, if he stays away from injuries you know he's going to score goals for this football club."
