Ex-Chelsea attacker Joe Cole is hopeful that star winger Eden Hazard stays put at Stamford Bridge for the rest of his career.
Chelsea have clearly enjoyed a wonderful season so far and while the entire team has performed well, one of the undoubted stars for the Blues has been Hazard.
Hazard has been in sensational form for Chelsea and his ex-Lille teammate, Cole, has expressed his hope that the 'talented' Belgian international will stay put at Stamford Bridge for as long as possible.
Cole told CFC Fan TV: "He's certainly the most talented all-round footballer I've played with and he's already a hero with the fans.
"I hope he stays there for the rest of his career. I was so happy when he signed for Chelsea.
"My first game in France with Lille, Rudi Garcia was saying to me 'we've got this good kid'. He said 'I want you to play with him' and then he scored two of the best goals you'll see within 20 minutes.
"I came on the pitch and set up a goal, we won 3-1 at St-Etienne, and in the interview afterwards - it must have been his only English word at the time - he kept saying 'my brother, my brother'.
"He's a nice kind, he's got a nice way about him, he loves training, he loves football and everyone in that dressing room in France loved him."
