Portsmouth have cut loose veteran striker Andy Cole.

Former England and Manchester United striker Cole, 35, has had a torrid time since arriving in a £500,000 deal from Manchester City last summer.

Pompey have agreed to pay up the last 11 months of his £30,000-a-week deal after leaving him out of their Hong Kong tour party.

Cole said: "I can still play at the top level."

Celtic, Nottingham Forest and Hull have all made enquiries.
