Carlton Cole hopes he's weeks away from a return at West Ham United.

The West Ham striker partially tore a posterior cruciate ligament against Burnley last month and feared he would be out for three months.

But he said: "Hopefully I will be back in January. It was welcome news when I got told by the specialist."
