Ashley Cole is becoming increasingly resigned to a bit-part role at Chelsea.
Cole is realising that Cesar Azpilicueta, the right-footed left back, starts all the big games for manager Jose Mourinho: Arsenal (twice), Liverpool, Manchester United and the latest, Manchester City.
The England left-back comes off contract at Chelsea in June and is yet to hear from new terms.
