Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback says they're up for their Capital One Cup tie with Southampton.

Colback says the cup competitions offer a good opportunity for his side.

"A cup run would be really good all round; for the club, players and fans," he told safc.com.

"The FA Cup run we had a couple of seasons ago brought a lot of excitement; we are looking forward to tomorrow night's game."
