Benfica fullback Fabio Coentrao insists he wants to leave this summer for Real Madrid.
Benfica announced this morning that no agreement with Real had been struck for the defender, contrary to some media reports.
"This is a thing for (agent) Jorge Mendes," said Coentrao. "I have good relationship with (president) Vieira, Benfica is in my heart. They tried to make me stay, of course, but my decision is made.
"I have gratitude to Benfica, but Benfica also have to be grateful to me.
"I want to leave, to go to Real, above all else."
