Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney could be about to lose one of his major endorsement deals.
The Mail on Sunday says American bosses at Coca-Cola's headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, are horrified and bewildered by his reported use of prostitutes.
They were angry when Rooney - who advertises Coca-Cola Powerade in a £600,000-a-year deal - was photographed in June smoking, urinating against a wall and singing raucously.
But the latest allegations have left them believing "enough is enough".
"Americans cannot fathom the laddish culture that surrounds football and are bewildered by his behaviour," said a source.
The footballer earns £2.5million a year from four sponsors. As well as Coca-Cola, he has deals with publisher HarperCollins, sports firm Nike and computer games maker EA Sports.
