The Football League and Coca-Cola are going to continue their relationship, reports euFootball.BIZ Coca-Cola will be an official partner even after the six-year run as the title sponsor of the championship ends later in September. The Football League deal covers the Championship, League One and League Two - so the company can advertise at all the grounds where matches are played and create merchandise related to the league.
It is thought that this deal is likely to be less than the £5 million a year that Coca-Cola was paying to be the title sponsor. Coca-Cola has also signed a three year deal to be the official partner of the Scottish Premier League.
Coca-Cola and Football League announced the end of the title sponsorship arrangement last May. The League was looking for more money to reflect some more matches and additional coverage by BBC and BSkyB.
NPower will be sponsoring the title for the next three years for a deal worth £21 million.
