Former Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli would be surprised if PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to Turin. It broke yesterday that Ibra was keen to return to Juve over the next 12 months.
"Ibra was already a great champion when he joined Juventus, then improved again," recalled Cobolli Gigli to TMW.
"We did everything possible to keep him, even Pavel Nedved tried to give us a hand. He was indispensable.
"Then came an offer which we could not compete with because at the time we were in Serie B.
"He is a great champion, as that is lawful in life he has shown also to have economic interests. Allow me to doubt that he would come back to Juve."
