Stoke City chairman Peter Coates doesn't expect new manager Mark Hughes to make big squad changes this summer.
Hughes is weighing up his options in the transfer market as he looks to improve a squad which flirted with a relegation battle last season before finishing six points clear of the drop in 13th.
Coates told The Sentinel: "It is early days. The manager is still settling in, but we have been pleased with what we have seen so far.
"Mark wants to have a good look at the squad. I don't think there will be huge changes, no doubt there will be some."
