Derby County boss Nigel Clough insists he needs two new strikers if the club is to get out of the bottom half of the Championship table.
The Rams are currently sitting 17th and are in desperate need of some fresh faces in the attacking third and Clough is looking to get one or two in during the emergency loan week.
"We are desperately trying to get two in the emergency window. How quickly? As soon as we can," he said.
"We'd certainly like one in before Leicester (on the weekend). If we can get two in, we'll do that.
"We were speaking to clubs last week and we'll see what their injury situations are now the weekend has gone.
"We're looking around, seeing if there are some young strikers and older experienced ones.
"We just want a bit of experience and that could just mean that they've played games and not necessarily be about their age, because experience comes with games. We're also still looking for some pace."
