Derby boss Nigel Clough and captain Robbie Savage will attend a FA hearing on Thursday when the club will answer a charge of failing to control its players. The charge relates to a mass confrontation of players during the Championship defeat to Swansea at Pride Park on February 20. Derby have pleaded not guilty to the charge.
"We think we have a strong case and, as always, we are confident of a fair hearing," said a club spokesman ahead of the hearing at Birmingham City's St Andrews stadium.
It is the third time this season Derby have faced such a charge. The East Midlands club have been fined a total £65,000 already for failing to control their players in matches against rivals Nottingham Forest.
