Maurizio Sarri has been assured he can expect to be free to finalise a move to Chelsea in the next 48 hours.
Corriere del Mezzogiorno says Sarri has been told the deal is imminent and should be resolved on Tuesday between Napoli and Chelsea.
A compo fee of €5m has been settled plus a signed document confirming a pact of non-belligerence in the transfer market this summer, specifically pledging not to activate release clauses for Piotr Zielinski, Elseid Hysaj or Raul Albiol.
It is in Chelsea's interests to get the deal done for €5m, because from July 1 the famous release clause in Sarri's contract worth €8m becomes active again.
Blues legend Gianfranco Zola will join Sarri at Chelsea as director of sport, team manager or some sort of liaison between club and locker room.
