Manchester City left-back Gael Clichy says that City expected more from their Champions League group campaign.
The Citizens could only manage nine points from their six games and finished the group as runners-up, six points behind leaders Barcelona.
However, Clichy added that City have achieved their main objective of qualifying for the next round and they should now focus on the Round of 16.
"We're through so of course, we're happy," he said after the 1-1 draw with Celtic. "But a team like us should expect more.
"It was a tough group but the main objective was to get through. It was job done.
"We're through so now we can look forward to the next game and carry on the season."
