Gael Clichy insists Manchester City shouldn't panic if they finish the season trophyless.
City are among the favourites to lift the FA Cup this season - but even if they do not add to their medal collection in May, Clichy insists it is not the time to panic.
He told The Sun: "One year without a trophy is not a lot. If we don't win this year, then next season we don't compete for anything and so on for three or four years then it's different, but that's not the case. We need to stay calm.
"Being second and competing for the FA Cup is not too bad. The quality is there and I'm sure there is more to come from this team in years to come."
