Gael Clichy says there was never a chance he'd be tempted away from Arsenal this summer.

"For me it is different because the boss is French and he brought me here. I don't know many managers in football but I think he is one of the best," Clichy arsenal.com.

"To work with a manager like him and players like Cesc and Robin, we are all around 22 to 25 and it is a dream to play for Arsenal. So all the ingredients are all together to progress well as a footballer personally and as a team.

"I know what I have at Arsenal and I don't know what I will have somewhere else. Sometimes of course players think about money but it is not the only thing to think about. At 23 I think you have many years in front of you to get money. The objective for me is not to get the big cash, it is to prove you can play at a high level for many years and the rest will come."
