Arsenal fullback Gael Clichy admits they froze in their Premiership encounters with Manchester United this season.
Clichy admits Arsenal have come up short against United and Chelsea when the teams have met this season - losing all four games.
He said: "We lost 3-1 to United and 2-0 to Chelsea in consecutive games and all five goals were due to individual mistakes.
"We weren't up for the challenge when we played United. We lost every 50-50 challenge and were always second best.
"Maybe we wanted to do too much but I think we felt stressed and played with the handbrake on.
"But against Chelsea, apart from Drogba's two goals and his free-kick against the bar, they didn't make many other chances."
