Javier Clemente has been named new coach of Real Valladolid.
The experienced Clemente has been appointed until the end of the season and replaces Onesimo, who was sacked on Monday.
The 60-year-old will be officially presented to the media this evening and will take charge of the team for the first time in Saturday's clash at fellow strugglers Tenerife.
"Javier Clemente is the new coach of Real Valladolid," read a statement on club's official website.
"The Basque coach came in Tuesday morning to Valladolid and after meeting with [club president] Carlos Suarez sealed his commitment to the institution [for the] remainder of the season."
