Clement set to ramp up Swansea pre-season minutes

Swansea City manager Paul Clement has stated that he will be looking to give his players more game time during the upcoming pre-season friendly encounters.

Swansea started off their pre-season campaign with a clash against MLS side Philadelphia Union on Sunday and Clement handed game-time to 21 of his players during the encounter.

The Swans have now departed for Raleigh, North Carolina to square off against Richmond Kickers on Thursday and speaking ahead of the clash, Clement has stated that he will be using the upcoming matches to give everyone in the squad more game time on the pitch.

Clement said: "We have one session on Sunday when we arrive in Raleigh while we have double sessions lined up for Monday and Tuesday.

"For the game on Wednesday we have to increase the minutes of some players.

"Then we will flip the game time for the next game, so lots of players will get 60 minutes of action."
