Clement quits Blackburn for PSG move

Paul Clement has quit Blackburn Rovers.

The Independent says Clement had already left Rovers' Brockhall training ground yesterday, having agreed a three-year deal with PSG and cleared his possessions during a two-day break for the players.

It appears that he has had to force the move by handing in his notice, with Rovers reluctant to see him go.

But the prospect of a reunion with Carlo Ancelotti at the Parisian club awash with Qatari wealth is a far cry from Blackburn, where the desire to drive costs down even further will see first-team coach Ian Brunskill taking on Clement's job and no new recruitment to Steve Kean's support team.
