England have been hit by more injury woe - with goalkeeper coach Ray Clemence snapping his Achilles tendon.
The former Liverpool and Tottenham keeper, a long-standing member of the Three Lions backroom team, had to be carried off after snapping his Achilles tendon in the pre-match warm-up.
With the aid of crutches, the 63-year-old was able to watch Monday's 1-1 draw with France at the Donbass Arena.
"Our hoodoo with injuries continues with Ray Clemence snapping his Achilles tendon in the warm-up," said coach Roy Hodgson.
"He's in an awful lot of pain and has to go back to England for an operation."
