Claudio Ranieri clear to take charge of Nantes

Former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has the all-clear to take charge of Nantes.

There has been some doubts over the Italian's eligibility as bosses can't be over the age of 65 in France — and he turns 66 soon.

However, the move has been ratified and approved.

Ranieri was available after his sacking by the Foxes in February.

He was Monaco boss from 2012 to 2014 and he led the club to promotion back into the top tier.

Nantes finished the season in an impressive seventh place, but missed out on qualification for the Europa League.
