Class performance from Inverness but Celtic are next - Hughes

Inverness manager John Hughes hailed his side's display in their 3-0 win at Ross County on Tuesday night.

Goals from David Raven, Billy McKay and Marley Watkins allowed Caley to record a classy home victory which saw them move up to fourth on the Scottish Premiership table.

Hughes was absolutely thrilled with the performance of his players, in admittedly great conditions, but was wary of an even bigger test against Celtic after the league leaders were beaten for the first time this season at the hands of Aberdeen.

"To score three goals away from home was different class," he said.

"If we were a bit more ruthless and a little bit more slick with the final pass we could have got another one or two goals.

"But it was a good team performance. I'm delighted for the boys."

Of Saturday's trip to Celtic Park, Hughes added: "You don't want to get Celtic when they are coming off a defeat, very rarely do they go back-to-back defeats.

"It's going to be a real tough match but we don't get carried away we'll just get back to work and get on with it."
