Clarke has confidence in West Brom number two keeper Myhill

West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke is confident keeper Boaz Myhill to fill the gap left by injured number one stopper Ben Foster.

West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke is confident keeper Boaz Myhill to fill the gap left by injured number one stopper Ben Foster.

Foster is struggling to recover from a groin injury in time for Saturday's clash at Wigan and saw a specialist in Germany on Thursday to determine the extent of his recurring problem.

Clarke said: "We've got good back-up keepers here. Myhill played on loan in the Championship last season (at Birmingham) and had a really good season.

"He trains well every day and, if I have to rely on Boaz to play, I would be happy with that."
