Former Chelsea coach Steve Clarke says they may not seek to replace Steve Holland.
Holland is leaving Stamford Bridge to take up a full time role with Gareth Southgate at England.
Clarke told Sky Sports: "There will be a hole there that Chelsea might look to fill.
"It might be that they come to the end of the season and decide that Antonio Conte knows enough about the league and understands what's needed.
"They've got Carlo Cudicini on the staff as well who would know the league and know what's happening.
"It may be something that they don't have to fill in the future."
