Aston Villa will be better for this season's difficult campaign, insists defender Ciaran Clark.
He believes this closer camaraderie will stand them in good stead for the future.
Clark told Villa's website: "It's been a tough season for us all.
"Maybe with the squad we've got we should be pushing on for Europe. We've had a bit of a bad season and we're just hoping for a good one next time.
"I think it's brought the team closer together, I really do.
"We've had to work harder and bond more. I think next season we'll take this and we'll learn from it and push on."
