City keeper Hart demands team-mates ease the burden on skipper Tevez

Manchester City stopper Joe Hart is urging the team to contribute more and take the pressure off captain Carlos Tevez. The Argentina international has been the club's stand-out performer this season, leading to City being labelled a 'one-man show' but Hart insists everyone has been trying their best to boost results and ease the pressure on the former Manchester United player.

"We've been called a one-man show and it's hard not to be when that one man is absolutely brilliant and stands head and shoulders above most players on the planet," Hart explained.

"We're trying to help Carlos. He realises it's not all on his shoulders. We have to create passes for him to score, and he creates passes for the other boys. It's starting to come together.

"We have some great character in the side in people like David Silva. People will have looked at him on the pitch on Saturday and thought he had nothing to do with the game, but he ran the show.

"That showed big character from him and lots of balls. And of course, we've got Carlos, physically not that big, but so big for us when it comes to football."
