Valencia's Aly Cissokho is open to a move to England in the wake of reports linking him with Liverpool. The France international full-back was a target for the Anfield club in 2012.
"I've never hidden the fact that the English league is the one that attracts me the most. It's pleasing to see my name linked with Liverpool," the 25-year-old told Le Parisien.
"They're a great club, and not just anyone can wear that shirt. But it is still just an article in a newspaper."
Cissokho is also driven by the possibility of facing boyhood idol David Beckham in a UEFA Champions League tie against Paris Saint Germain, which Valencia trail 1-2 going into the second leg in the French capital on Wednesday.
He added: "When I was little, I was a Manchester United fan, and so also of David Beckham. It's strange to think I'll be playing against him."
