Djibril Cisse's agent has demanded talks with Marseille officials after the club spurned Manchester City's approach for his client.
The France international is thought to be a target for a number of Premier League sides, with City the first club to make contact.
Their approach was given short shrift by Marseille president Pape Diouf, who is adamant Cisse will not be allowed to leave Stade Velodrome.
And Cisse's agent Ranko Stojic is not happy with how Marseille have handled the affair.
He is also unimpressed at the club's failure to act when Cisse was subjected to booing by his own supporters earlier in the season.
Stojic said: "Djibril can't leave? We will see. I will meet the officials later this week, or early next week.
"I am absolutely not happy with the behaviour of those officials when Djibril experienced very difficult times. At that moment, no one supported him, not even Pape Diouf. We have to talk."
