PSG midfielder Christopher Nkunku admits he was surprised by David Luiz's departure for Chelsea.

Nkunku discussed Luiz's exit, along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic's move to Manchester United, with Titis PSG.

"Zlatan is a great player, his absence affects the entire team! We were sad to see him go, but it's like that ... The departure of David surprised me a little, because it was done at the last moment.

"I really thought he would stay with us, he hadn't foreshadowed anything.

"For my part I was in the U20 squad when I learned this. When I said goodbye upon my return, I was sad because he was actually very close to the young players of the club. He always gave us lots of good advice."
