Christian Eriksen says signing new terms with Tottenham was an easy decision.
Eriksen has signed a new four-year deal worth in the region of £75,000-a-week that will keep him at White Hart Lane until 2020.
"If you feel there is a good project ahead of you, you will take the chance to build on it and that's what we're doing at Spurs," he told the club's official website.
"There are eight players playing a lot of games and with that experience, you can only get better and better because none of us are that old yet.
"Everyone wants to be here, everyone wants to improve and everyone wants to win games."
Eriksen is adamant the camaraderie that was borne out of last term's failure will help to spur Mauricio Pochettino's young side on to success.
"It's never fun to lose but it helps if you come out the other side in a better mood and the experience, you definitely take that with you.
"We've done that. We know we could have finished stronger [last season[ but we gave our all and now we have a chance to improve this season and hopefully it will be even better."
