Christian Eriksen demanding massive pay-hike for Spurs stay

Christian Eriksen is demanding a massive pay-hike to stay with Tottenham.

The Mirror says Eriksen is demanding £150,000-a-week to sign a new deal at Tottenham.

Eriksen has reached a contract stalemate with the club, although Spurs are hoping to extend his current £32,000-a-week deal which has got two years left.

But the real reason for the impasse is Eriksen's representatives playing hardball with Tottenham by insisting they want nearly double the wages of the club's existing top earner, Hugo Lloris.

It has alerted long term admirers Juventus who have been watching developments while Inter Milan are also interested.

Spurs remain hopeful of reaching agreement with Eriksen while Erik Lamela and Jan Vertonghen are also entering the final two years of their existing contracts.
