Christian Eriksen is close to penning a new deal with Tottenham.

The Mirror says Eriksen's contract appears to be coming to end.

The Tottenham star has been looking to secure a new deal as he is on £32,000 a week - a relatively low sum for a player of his stature - and he reportedly surprised Spurs by asking for £150,000 a week earlier this summer.

However, he is now close to agreeing new terms on a five-year deal.
