Chris Kettings enjoyed a Crystal Palace debut in their friendly with Bromley.
The development squad went down 3-2 to an impressive Bromley outfit on Tuesday and Kettings had to make a number of saves in the first half to keep the score down.
"Bromley were a very good team, their season starts on Saturday," the keeper told the Croydon Advertiser.
"Obviously they were going to be up for it, they're going to be in shape.
"It was my first time playing with the U21s but I think we have a lot of talented players. Our lads have got a good future ahead of them.
"I am not sure what the plan is for me with Friday just yet, there are so many keepers from the youth team.
"I would relish another chance to play another 90 minutes though. I am OK, the more game time, the better.
"Whatever comes my way, I'll take it."
