"My agent is in discussions with Betis, but I am aware of an English club keen to acquire my services," he told skysports.com. "The Premier League has always been one of my favourites, along with the Spanish league, because they are exciting.

"I don't want to be at Nancy next season, I've done enough there, I want to test myself in a top European league.

"When I leave this club I want to do so in friendly manner, with no animosity, but I need a new challenge."
