Cristian Chivu has declared he wants to play out his career at Inter Milan.

The Romania international defender joined Inter over the summer from Roma and said: "There has always been a lot of contact with Inter. This is life and this was my journey.

"I spent four years at Ajax, four at Roma and in all honesty I want to end my career here. I am 27 years old, I can play at my level for at least another five seasons. I'd like to have my testimonial in this jersey."
