The agent of Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu insists there's been no contact with Real Madrid.

Ajax coach Frank de Boer claimed Real and themselves were in for the Romania international.

But Victor Becali insisted: "The rumours of Real Madrid and Ajax? I have not spoken to anyone about these clubs. There are no negotiations.

"The player still has six months on his contract with his team and I believe that he will continue at least until next summer."
